Oh and btw, I’m happy that you’re blogging a lot these days, I’m checking out your blog for updates everyday!

For you other guys who love CuDi, you should check out my remix of “That Tree” for the contest at Indaba… I’m 16 years old and at 6th place. I put the link on the “website” thing, not sure if you can see it

And Cudi, please keep making awesome music, doing interviews and stuff (I’ve seen every single interview on youtube I guess, lol), cause your stuff is inspiring me EVERYDAY and I’m not joking, haha. Makes my mood better too… Even though I’m a producer your definetly my idol!

    Keep on doing your thing
    Peace

    tom donohue Says:

    Hi,
I just listened to your song “Come Around” on youtube and I was blown away. Then I found out that you collaborate with one of my other all time favorite artists, and now, you have my heart…
I too, am an outcast who seeks refuge in music. I too, can hear and feel melody in my mind. It is like a second language for the soul to speak what it can never put into words. I think all great musicians share one thing in common…severe pain. Music, like a drug, is an escape from this pain. It is an opportunity to create a beautiful world where reality dictates otherwise and in order to dedicate one’s self to this world, one must become unable to accept reality as it stands. The soul is crying to the mind that there is something wrong, there is an unsettling feeling that you no longer have a place in reality because you are well aware that you are different from others but you do not see a viable escape route. How can you assimilate with a group of people to whom you cant relate? Stress sends you to the greatest depths of despair and once you’re there you begin to question everything and realize people ultimately know absolutely nothing, and each lives in their own subjective reality which you can influence over time but never forcibly change. You can lead a horse to water, but you cant make it drink. When you try to force change, it comes back to bite you in the ass. No person wants to be criticized or shown that they are “wrong” and there is no clear definition of what’s “right” so there is always an endless debate which is initiated anytime you put someone directly on the defensive. Music is a amazing and powerful language because it can influence people indirectly. The listener is able to take what they want from a song, it can be as deep as their imagination will allow it to be. They can apply the emotions expressed to fit whatever they need it to and nothing more.
Anyway, I am very high, so forgive me for rambling on and on about music… I just wanted to know if perhaps you might want to be friends because I am a complete loner and I’m about ready to dedicate my life to making music like all my heroes have…so I’d love to just hang out, smoke some blunts, and come up with some really cool music because I hear songs in my head that I need to get out somehow and I dont know how I can do that without the help of someone understanding like you

  14.

    tom donohue Says:

And, I know that sounds strange and whatnot, but it is only because I have reached a point of complete desperation…I’m not a loser or a weirdo, I just spend a lot of time thinking alone, and I have lived through a lot.
My family has been destroyed beyond all repair, and no matter what I do, I feel helpless and fear for the future. I have become hyper-sensitive to everything around me and that includes music…This could be a very good thing if i could figure out a way to express it…I really want to learn about production but I dont have any money to buy any equipment or any friends to help me. I cant hold down a real job because its overwhelming but I manage to get by doing my own things cough cough but even that is easy and boring, I cant afford anything fun. I used a credit card to buy a macbook when I had a job, but then my girlfriend left me for some douchebag lacrosse player and they fired me because I couldnt control myself and I kept crying in front of customers. They told me it was no big deal and that there would be other girls, but it was not the girl I was crying for. I was crying because I had been fooling myself all along. I thought I was in love with someone who didnt give a fuck at all about me and it made me realize how needy and dependent I am upon others to make myself feel good.
I realized how selfish, greedy, and impulsive human beings truly are, and how they lie to themselves so they can believe otherwise and keep their dignity and reputation. There arent many people who think too deeply anymore and there are many who dont think at all. These people are generally much happier…why?
Questions like this keep me up at night. I also wonder if I should have presented myself to you differently…perhaps in a more simple way, rather than seeking to connect with you on this deeper level. I don’t exactly know how you’ll take this…or if you even read these comments but I figured that trying is better than not…

  30.

    D'AMONSTER Says:

Hey I was thinking and listening to the song you did with Snoop that was meant for Cudder and then I had this idea *windows 7 commercial flash*. The idea is that people would really enjoy seeing a fun side of you but The Man on The Moon Trilogies deserve to be albums. But Cudder: The Revolution of Evolution could easily be an EP or even a mixtape. It’ll give you more recognition and it’d give the fans more Cudi until you release The Legend of Mr. Rager.

I hope you read this and take it into consideration.

we need you man. i been bumpin motm and ur mixtape for awhile now. im glad u changed from cudder to motm2 ive gone through a lot of the same trials as you so im glad ur comin up with another inspirational album. im ready for it and need it man. your spiritual songs like the prayer, save my soul and the message have really brought me closer to myself as well as the other songs on motm. ha im prolly ramblin on but i love it when people tell me im weird or im in my world. youve made individualism cool and i love it. im only writing this cause you mean a lot to me and im a lil drunk. not only have i made a a lot of people cudi fans but ive been supportin u since day 1. hell i got motm from itunes, cd, and vinyl which is dope by the way the art looks great on my dresser. anyways i guess the reason why im writing this is to keep u motivated.

ps ive seen u perform before but you should come to charlotte u got a big fan base there

    peace and love
